Crossword Puzzle Maker
The site charges for a fancy printed version. But if you want to make something that you can use to copy on a big poster board, for instance, this is a good one. And for the rough-draft version, it's Free!
When you make it don't put in your clues, just the words. Each word is followed by a slash " / ". After the slash just put "clue 1" then " clue 2" and so on. As you go on down the list it would look like this:
quadratic/clue1
negative/clue2
positive/clue3
integer/clue4
and so on.
(Copy and paste those four fake entries and test it!)
You don't need a title. Then click "Create Puzzle" After the screen changes, go down two paragraphs and click puzzle
to see your puzzle as a web page. Print that Web Page. You would write the
clues yourself on the poster board in the place of "clue11" "clue12" and
so on next to the clue number and under either down or across depending on where the computer put them. I've tested it and it will do at least 30 words with clues.
