EAA Chapter 172 Spring Fly-In

The 2003 Wrens Spring Fly-In is happening now . . .

Conventional Aircraft, Experimentals, Gyroplanes, Ultralights, Trikes and Powered Parachutes are all invited to attend this event!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Dates: May 3-4 with May 2nd being the "early-bird" day and the 4th the packing-up day. The main activities ill be on Saturday, May 3rd. There will be conventional aircraft, ultralights, trikes, powered parachutes and gyroplanes. There is a 900' grass ultralight strip parallel to the asphalt runway with a 300' trike/powered parachute strip at right angles.

Barbecue Friday evening, the 2nd -- (for EAA 172 members only -- so why not join HERE?);
"special" supper for all on Saturday evening, the 3rd
Breakfast at 8:00 AM Saturday & Sunday

Pattern altitude for Ultralights (using the grass strip), Trikes, powered parachutes, ultralights and gyros is 500' AGL (950' MSL). Pattern altitude for conventional aircraft using the paved runway is 1000' AGL (1450' MSL).
Pattern altitude for gyroplanes and ultralights using the paved runway is 500' AGL (1450' MSL).
 
The paved runway is 29L and 11R -------------- The sod runway is 29R and 11L

 
To clarify: Asphalt runway 29 has a LEFT HAND pattern. Asphalt runway 11 has a RIGHT HAND pattern.
The asphalt runway has been resurfaced and is in excellent condition!
There are electrical hookups (by donation) for Motorhomes -- call J.C. Magnan  for arrangements -- 706-547-3607  (recorder --please leave a complete message) or e-mail him at wrens@jcmservices.net.

There is no charge for motorhomes using their own power.
